For many years I have seen numerous consultants and specialists seeking help to straighten open bite teeth. I was advised by those consultants the only remedy would be to relign my jaw. I would have to wear braces for 2 years and there would be an obvious difference in my appearance.

Then I heard about Invisalign. The Consultant Dr Tinkler explained the procedure and demonstrated how my teeth would look, after wearing braces for 12 months using 3D visual display. It was amazing, unbelieveable but true.
 
After a little refinement at the end, the total time taken was 14 months. The gap has reduced drastically and I have much more confidence and smile all the time. The secret with Invisalign is its so clear no one notices. I would recommend that if you have a open bite gap like I had and want straight teeth you should visit Dr Tinkler before you make a decision.

“I was very conscious that overtime my front teeth were becoming more and more crooked. I was very reluctant to wear fixed braces mainly because of the aesthetic issue. Until my dentist suggested Invisalign I was unaware there was any alternative.

My treatment took 11 months which seemed to pass very quickly. The Invisalign aligners were very comfortable to wear. Each new aligner felt tight to begin with but in a way that you could feel it was working.

That feeling would pass after a couple of hours. I am currently wearing a fixed lower retainer and an upper retainer at night time only to prevent relapse. I am so pleased with the results and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their smile.”

“I never really smiled in photos because i didn't like the look of my teeth. I liked the shape and colour just not the crowding. When Doctor Tinkler was able to show me a proposed end result before I even started the treatment I was very impressed. It was also very helpful to have an idea as to how long the treatment was going to take.

The aligners arrived 3 weeks after I approved the treatment. Although I was very self conscious to begin with I soon got used to the idea of wearing the aligners, after a while they just felt like part of me.

They fitted around my busy lifestyle, to begin with I would leave them out if I was going out for drinks after work or going out for meals, in the end though I felt more comfortable with them in. Now I have finished the treatment I get lots of compliments on my smile.”
